GODDAMN IT SHE'S NOT GOING TO BE A PROSTITUTE

Mapleface had an idea. It was a great one. She wanted power, but she wasn't strong, nor was she an excellent hunter. The answer? Black mail. She didn't care what KIND of power she had, she just wanted POWER. So, with a sly grin on her pretty face (the face she planned on using to her advantage) she slinked to the border of RiverClan, waiting for a warrior to walk by.

Duckstep padded past the border, not even noticing the ShadowClan warrior as he gazed up at the twinkling stars.

Finally, a handsome tom sauntered by with a waddling step. This would be easy. "Psssstttt." she hissed softly. "Over here!"

Turning his head in surprise, Duckstep padded over in confusion. "Huh? What're you doing here?" he mewed, his ears twitching.

Mapleface sauntered out in to the open, right on the edge. "I was just waiting for someone to come along." she meowed softly, and purred a little. "I'm kind of... chatty today." Mapleface tilted her head to the side. "Can I tell you a super secret secret?"

He nodded eagerly. "Uh-huh! I won't tell anyone!"

"But," she paused, stepping over the border to him. She curled her soft tail around his neck softly. "I'll need a secret from RiverClan in turn. It's only fair, right?" she purred soothingly in to his ear.

He blinked in surprise, then slowly nodded. "Uh..uh, okay! Yea, it's only fair." he agreed.

"You go first." she prompted softly, sliding her tail down his shoulder and crossing back over to her side of the border and sitting down.

"Well, Froststar thinks that ShadowClan is planning to attack us, so we've been patrolling this border more frequently and we've been training extra hard. So if ShadowClan does attack, we'll already be prepared for them to come." he stated, nodding his head.

"Oh?" she purred slightly, pausing. "Well, over there in ShadowClan it's not so great. An elder of ours died!" Mapleface gasped, making it seem like the biggest deal ever. This cat was so stupid, it'd probably seem really dramatic and weakening to the clan. "I mean, he was such a great warrior!" she almost wailed.

Duckstep shook his head sadly. "Oh.. I'm sorry." he mewed sympathetically, laying his tail over her shoulder. That sounded so awful... He didn't know what he'd do if one of his Clanmates died.

Mapleface hung her head, playing grief stricken. "You can't tell anyone." she sniffled. "Please? Don't mention it to anyone!" she whispered quietly.

He nodded. "I won't, I promise!" he vowed, lifting his chin.

"Thank you so much!" she looked up, frowning. "Oh my! I have to go! My brother will be looking for me soon. See you later!" she called softly, breaking away and streaking off into the woods.
