At The Border

Crowclaw sat down at the Gorge, careful not to get too close to the edge. He wondered how horrid a death would be if you fell in, being battered by rocks while slowly drowning. He'd heard that many cats have died here, so he decided to pay a visit to clear his mind. Much history was left here, and the small tom was admittedly interested in clan history now. It seemed to hold so many secrets that he could use, if not keep to himself and edit it without anyone knowing somehow...Well no, eh couldn't change history, but he could use what he knew to add to it. The thought of this made him feel a little more powerful, though of course no one else looked at him that way. Not yet, he supposed.
The wind blew gently through his fur, and for a moment he caught the scent of another cat on the breeze. Looking around, he wondered if perhaps some one had followed him, or maybe some Riverclan cats were patrolling on the other side of the Gorge. He couldn't tell where the scent came from since the roar of the water was distracting him slightly, not to mention the water was making the wind a little choppy around the edges. either way, some one was nearby. Crowclaw slid out his claws, just in case it was some one hostile.

Crowclaw snapped his had around to give a snappy remark, since it was obvious now the scent had come from Riverclan's side, but he quickly noticed it was simply an apprentice. So instead, he just yawned slightly. "Yeah." He yowled back over the roar of the water below. "What's it to you?"
