Battle Training for Darkpaw

Nightcloud let out a small huff as she paced back and forth next to the camp entrance, pausing every once in a while to look at the apprentice den and for any sign of her sister. Nightcloud had always longed for Darkpaw to get her training done so she could get her name, but as moons came and went, Nightcloud had finally set her mind on doing something. Asking Sagestar if she could do her own sister's training had been an odd one, but she had done it and thus she was now able to do her sister's training. She knew that Darkpaw only had really one or two things to go, that being battle training and the assessment. So today, they would be doing the first one. Darkpaw was going to get her warrior name very soon if Nightcloud had anything to do about it...and lucky, she did.

Darkpaw padded behind her sister silently, then slipped to the shadows. Her black fur blended in and she waited for a hearbeat as Nightcloud looked towards the apprentice den. With a small smirk, she leaped towards the warrior- and missed by a tiny bit. Ugh. Talk about crappy. "Hey Nightcloud." she said, as if nothing just happened, pressing against her sister. "what are we doing today?"

Nightcloud jumped a bit when her sister attempted to jump on her, and she returned it by gently pawing at her. "Hey you. Today we are doing battle training," she said with a smile as she flickered her tail at Darkpaw before padding toward into the territory and her normal place to do battle training. She glanced at Darkpaw as she walked, a sly smile appearing on her face. "You seem a bit more cheery than normal. Happy that you are finally going to get your warrior name?"
