Shadepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Jagged Rock for a clan meeting!" Sagestar yowled, his voice echoing in the camp clearing.

Shadeclaw padded over and sat down, looking around the camp. Must be a ceremony. Nothing else special had happened as far as he knew. He wondered who the ceremony was for; maybe an apprentice becoming a warrior? A kit becoming an apprentice? That'd be cool. Maybe once Fawnpaw became a Warrior, he could get another apprentice.

Shadepaw raised his head from his frog at Sagestar's yowl. He quickly finished his prey and padded beneath the Jagged Rock. Maybe it's a warrior ceremony, he thought. I wonder if it's me! His eyes sparkled with excitement as he waited for Sagestar to continue.
