Kitty Angst

Heatherkit crouched in a distant corner of the camp, ears turned sideways and tail down. He didn't like how noisy it was around this time; it hurt his ears and made him nervous. So instead of playing with the other kits, he decided to try and block out the noise, and just watch what was happening around the camp.

A fluffy kit noticed another tom, he seemed so lonely in the tiniest corner he could possibly cram himself in, Mistkit let out a small sigh and couldn't believe, Mistkit, of all kits would do this. The Persian padded up to the small kit and meowed quietly "H-Hey, Heatherk-kit, wanna play.. A game?" she meowed trying to make herself as kind and confident as Deerkit.

Heatherkit fluffed up his fur in shock, but then let it lie flat when he realized it was only Mistkit. "Oh... Sure, I guess." He mewed. The noise had started to die down a little by then, and doing something would help him take his mind off of it. "What game do you want to play?" He asked, crawling out of his little corner.

"I was um, thinking moss ball, but, you can, d-deciide" she meowed trying to prevent stuttering by lengthening some words but it hadn't helped one bit as the fluffy grey Persian looked away a bit, still not used to doing things like this at all.

Heatherkit nodded. "Moss ball sounds good. I know where there's moss growing near the Tallrock. I'll go get it." He padded away, before returning with a moss-ball. "Ok, catch!" He mewed, throwing it with a paw.
