June Gathering 2013

OOC: Tonight there is a "supermoon", where the moon looks much bigger than usual. I thought it'd be a fitting night for the Gathering.

I'd also like to say that while you definitely shouldn't speak up too much during a Gathering, try to be involved a little. I'm not saying to have your character speak out or start fights, but I don't think a couple of nasty looks towards your rivals would go amiss.

IC: The full moon once again hung in the sky, bathing the empty clearing of Fourtrees in a silver light. The familiar beautiful scene of the sacred ground was one that could hardly soothe the nerves of the cats converging there. The air would soon be electrified with tension; it'd be an inevitability. The last Gathering had ended on a bad note for all four Clans, and StarClan knew that it'd be brought up again.

SkyClan's empty territory. What to do with it?

WindClan wanted to slice it up, ShadowClan and ThunderClan were unwilling to share, and RiverClan wanted to leave it unclaimed. Would there be a compromise, or would the dispute turn into more than just words?

No clouds were in the jet black sky tonight. It looked like there'd be no intervention tonight.

Thunderclan was first once again, led into the clearing by Lionstar, getting notably older with each passing moon. Was that a lope in his step? Perhaps it was almost time for the old tom to retire, and have Mosspelt take his place.
As Thunderclan lined up to head into the clearing, Lionstar flicked his tail, looking over his shoulder and nodding. He trotted by the Great Oaks, clambering up the slope leading onto the top of the Great Rock, and sat, waiting.

Froststar entered just after the ThunderClan leader, flicking her tail and summoning her clan to follow. She looked strong and healthy, with her fur carefully groomed and her head held high. She didn't want any cat to think she was still weak from the sickness that had caused her to stay in camp the previous Gathering. She wasn't sure what to expect tonight, what with all that Silvershade had told her about the problems stirring between the other clans. The calico just hoped to keep RiverClan far from all the drama- if a battle did break out over the unclaimed territory, she didn't want any of her warriors getting involved. 
The she-cat leaped up on to the Great Rock, dipping her head to Lionstar before waiting quietly for the Gathering to begin.

Silvershade followed just after her leader, grinning. The Clan was finally growing, being more active. Less random kitties sitting around everywhere. She'd already gotten scolded for her ideas about the territory by other leaders; she hoped it wouldn't be brought up again. She took her spot below the Great Rock, waiting patiently.

Cherrypaw padded after Silvershade. Her excitement getting the best of her as she looked around the clearing. This was her first gathering and she was so excited. She padded into the clearing gazing around with awe. She couldn't believe she was here but yet here she was. She padded around with a look of excitement.

Raccoonstar, and her clan was the third to arrive that night. The windclan leader lead her clan down to the gathering area glancing at the other two clans. She didn't want to stop, and have a chat with any of them. The young leader made her way over to the rock, before climbing her way up. She glared at the Thunderclan leader before looking at the Riverclan leader. "Greetings Froststar. You seem well tonight" The small she-cat said.

Lionstar narrowed his eyes as Raccoonstar glared at him. Turning away, he looked around at the gathering cats. So many familiar face he'd come to recognize over the moons...Perhaps while he was waiting he could see if he could name a couple from each clan. That is, if Shadowclan showed up soon.

Crowpaw was one of the cats taking up the rear as Windclan flowed in. He wasn't a friendly-looking cat at all, casting looks of hatred at every cat not of his clan, possibly one or two of his own clanmates as well, as if he recently had a disagreement with them. As Windclan dispersed, the tom looked around for a quiet area where he could hear the leaders well, see the moon above, but also be away from any possible chatterboxes...That went for all other apprentices. Besides, Crowpaw felt happier alone by himself. It made him feel at peace, as if no one could bother him with everyday clan drama.
He settled in a small patch of grass by a bush and looked up at the Great Rock. Raccoonstar looked great and powerful up on the stone, while the other two leaders were strangers to him. One looked particularly old, while the other looked to be quite the strong and sleek she-cat.

Patcheye padded into the gathering along side her mother, her eyes widening at all the cats, this was actually her first gathering, despite her age. The female calico departed and found her paws taking her to where the Riverclan cats were, they were so sleek looking, as plump as a fat mouse.

Cherrypaw saw a she cat padding to her clanmates. She padded to the she cat with a smile her cream Brown and white fur glistening in the moonlight."hi there"she needs to patcheye.

"Oh, hello apprentice is this your first gathering?" she asked a smile across her face, her eyes still dull from the fire and her fathers death but she was healing greatly.

Cherrypaw smiled and nodded"yes this is my first gathering......I'm Cherrypaw"she needs. She looked at the Skye cat and noticed her eyes were dull.

"Heh, this is weird but, this is my first aswell! I've been delayed by so many things so I never got to come" she meowed with a small laugh.

"That so cool"Cherrypaw newer sitting down.

Reedheart followed closely after his deputy and leader, casting glances around to see the other cats. He was glad that Froststar was well enough again to lead. RiverClan had to appear strong, now more than ever.

Cherrypaw padded up to her mentor leaving Patch eye by herself.  she smiled happily"this is so cool"she mewed to her mentor her fur fluffed up in excitement.
