Meeting the 'family'

There was a small grunt as Twistedkit pulled himself from the nursery, shaking off the dirt that clung to his pelt. His eyes widen at the sight of the pure white clearing, carefully touching it with his twisted paw. He let out a squeak at the cold, wet powder stuck to his paw, causing him to jump backwards. Twistedkit blinked, before smiling and leaping sightly into the shallow snow with a playful yowl, his long fur cold keeping out most of the coldness. Lucky for the kit, it wasn't that deep of snow or that cold of a day, and infact, it was a perfect day to play in the snow.

Minteyes trotted through camp. Only to catch the sight of a little fluffball bounding around by the nursery. Not moving any faster than she was the she-cat made her way over to Twistedkit. "Having fun?"

Twistedkit paused as Minteyes spoke, turning his head as he gazed at the larger she-cat. He hadn't met many of the cats in WindClan, and he for sure had never really met this warrior. "Uh-huh," he meowed to her, his tail flickering. He dropped his gaze sightly, letting out a happy sigh when he noticed that his paws were lost in the snow, which also meant that the large warrior wouldn't be able to see his twisted paw.

Minteyes looked at the young tom and longed to have kits of her own. Of course the clan needed her and being able to do warrior duties was not to be ignored at this time of the season, she turned her attention back to Twistedkit. "First time out of the nursery?" She questioned him. Kits were so cute in her mind, but she couldn't even imagine what it would be like to have ones of her own.
