'Twas the night before Christmas a calm night throughout the Clans. Many cats slept with peaceful expressions. A light chilly breeze crossed the forest, barely bothering those whom were awake at the time. Thin foggy clouds dotted the starry sky, trying to hide the ancestors of the felines within the snowy land with much difficulty. All together, it was a perfect night. Well, at least to a "normal" cat.
"Why can't I sleep?!" a certain she-cat hissed under her breath. Having been awake the entire day, she assumed that sleep would come easy. Apparently, StarClan wasn't very kind to her at the moment. Without the ability to rest, Icepaw decided to take one of those, midnight strolls, some cats liked to take. No cat bothered to ask where she was headed. That was one perk of being a medicine cat. She could leave anytime as she might need herbs. Whut? No one else can understand that. They no meddie.
Following a very faded scent of WindClan, the lynx-point headed towards the four great trees that stood in the middle of all territories. As she reached her destination, a wave of new smells invaded her currently sensitive nose. Dem herbs really smell.
"What are these disgusting smells?" Icepaw asked herself. What she didn't know was that there was someone who was gonna post after this with their cat just randomly being there the entire time and taking offense from her comment.
