Derping with Kes

"Describe what you see." she said, looking in to the water next to him.

Icepaw looked down into the water again, seeing the monster again. "I see me, but with a wicked smile... and I'm bloody." He said.

Kestrelpaw studied him. Her biggest fear has become true. He was going crazy. Panic briefly flashed in her stomach. However, she remained calm. "Is that all?"

Icepaw looked away. "Yeha that's it."

Kestrelpaw licked his face softly, and whispered. "I don't see that. You aren't a monster."

Icepaw bared his teeth, knowing in his own mind that she saw like him. "LIES" He batted her face, going in to draw blood

Icepaw drew blood for the she-cat, he shook his head, taking a step back. "Kes, I'm-I'm sorry I didn't...mean"

Kestrelpaw gasped, looking down as blood dripped from the long slash across her face. She took a step back, looking at him straight in the eyes. "Icepaw, let's go home." she said calmly, her gaze very convincing.

Icepaw waited for her to lead. He didn't want t get any where near he, because of what have just happened. "Kes, I'm sorry." He repeated.

She shook her head, not saying anything. She turned slowly, making sure he were to follow.

Tears fled from Icepaw's eyes. He stood in same spot.

"Come on Icepaw." she said, not turning around. Her voice was stern, as she was fighting back tears.

Icepaw looked down, letting the last tear fall from his muzzle. "Fine." He followed.

She flicked her tail, bringing him into the camp. "You're staying in the den with me." she said, shaking her head again.
