Getting used to things.

Snowkit; Now Snowpaw, walked over to the fresh-kill pile, and decided to get a vole. She was super excited to sleep in the Apprentice's den tonight. She carried it over to the center of the camp, and layed down. Her cream-striped tail swishing back and forth happily.

"Hello, Snowpaw," Feathersong greeted the young apprentice as she padded over, fat with kits. Although she hadn't told anyone.

Snowpaw finished her vole, and she smiled. "Hey Feathersong! Is it just me, or have you gotten... bigger?" she asked; noticing.

Feathersong let out a sigh and looked at Snowpaw warmly. "I... I'm expecting."

Snowpaw's eyes lit up. "Really? Can I come help you look after them? Who's you mate?" She said, calmly, but her eyes betrayed that.

"Err... I haven't told anyone else yet..." She let out a sigh. "My mate was Flameclaw... he ran away shortly after I told him I was expecting. He didn't really like kits..."

Snowpaw nodded. "I know how it feels to not know your dad..." she said.

"Well, I knew mine. He just died in an accident on the thunderpath..." fear gave her a quick jolt as she was shocked back into reality. "Er... I..."

Snowpaw looked at Feathersong. "Can I still help you care for them?" she asked

"I guess," Feathersong meowed, smiling. "Thanks, Snowpaw."

Snowpaw stood up, and pressed her nose on the deputy's shoulder. "No problem." she said.

Feathersong nodded. "They should be coming soon..."


ooc: BTW, Feather is gonna die during her kitting. But her son(my next life) will be her only kit.

ic: Snowpaw purred, thankfully. She went and got the deputy a mouse. "Want one?" she asked.

"No," Feathersong meowed quietly. "Other warriors need that food more than I. Besides, I had a squirrel earlier."
