Flamepaw's ears instantly erected the moment Mosspelt finished speaking. He jumped on his paws in a single heartbeat. "Alright!" He said excitedly, bouncing out of the apprentices den. "What're we gonna do first?" He asked.

Flamepaw quietly tiptoed away from the apprentices den and began making his way into the forest beyond the fern tunnel. "What border are we gonna be patrolling?" He asked once his mentor had caught up with him.
