Redfern's Apprentice (ICE/LIONSTAR JOIN)

Redfern padded quietly on the packed earth of the hollow as she headed towards the dark cleft in the Highrock in which Lionstar slept. Coming to a stop before the lichen curtain that blew softly in the breeze, the medicine cat meowed, "Lionstar, may I come in?"

"Redfern? Of course." Called Lionstar from inside.

"Hello Lionstar, what a fine morning it has been." Redfern purred as she entered quietly, steps light. "I would like to ask your input on taking Brightkit on as an apprentice," she stated, a slight bit of challenge glinting in her eyes, as if her mind was already made up.

Lionstar looked thoughtful for a minute. "She has the potential of a medicine cat, that's for sure. Do you think she's up to it? Or maybe seen any signs of starclan's choice?" He asked.

Redfern closed her eyes, then murmured, "she is definitely up for the rank. Brightkit asked me herself.." Then the medicine cat gasped, thinking of her dream from the night before. It had been a vision of her searching for herbs, but however hard she looked, she could not find the leaves. Then a bright light had guided her into a darker part of the forest, where she had finally found the herbs.
"Yes.." Redfern purred, totally sure. "I did receive a sign."

ic: Lionstar nodded. "If Starclan approved already, then of course she may. Will you bring her to moonstone, or shall I?" he mewed.

"I wish to bring her." Redfern replied with a blink. "Thank you, Lionstar."

Lionstar dipped his head. "Good luck to you then. May starclan light the path of both you and your soon-to-be apprentice!" He purred.
