Birth of a new kit

Stormeye turned his gaze to Ravenfeather, his eyes wide. He took a small step forward, his tail flicking with worry. "Are you ok?"

"Hurry Stormeye, put two of those Poppyseeds in her mouth and make her bite the stick!" he meowed racing to Ravenfeathers side with borage "Eat these AFTER having the kits, and on my mark you push, ok?" he meowed.

Ravenfeather growled at the medicine cat apprentice softly. "Do you mind if I go into the nursery BEFORE I go into labor?" she snapped.

"It's too late for that now Ravenfeather" he looked up to her with his brown eyes. "They're already close to entering our world" he meowed.

Stormeye turned his wide-eyed gaze to Longpaw, but quickly took the poppy-seeds. The kits are coming... The thought kept on running thought his head as also found a way to grab the stick in his jaws. He placed his tail-tip on his mate's shoulder, leading her to the nursery. "Come on," he manged to say though the stick and poppy seeds.

"Very well" He picked up the borage and headed after them.

OOC: Grey... -.-

Ravenfeather flinched as another contraction rocked her body, but she managed to pad into the nursery. There, she laid down in a nest, tired and in pain.

IC: After Ravenfeather had her kit(s) he nudged the borage towards her "Eat these it'll help" he ordered.

Ooc: Dun give the queen poppyseeds! It could effect the kits, whether she's kitting or not. After the kits are born, if she's still in pain you give her poppyseeds.*helpful MC advice*

Thistlekit could hear the loud noises from outside, and freaked out a little when Ravenfeather, Stormeye and Longpaw rushed into his sanctuary. He had to exit the den for a while.


"Uhh... what's going on?" he mewed with worry when everything calmed down.

Stormeye pressed his nose into his mate's fur, happy that the kitting had gone well. His eyes shone as he gazed at the small little grey tom, his own son. "What should we name him, Ravenfeather?"

Ravenfeather growled at Longpaw. "You can leave now." she hissed at him. Ravenfeather then turned her attention onto her kit. "Hm..." she said, thinking. "Well, he looks like you. I think we should name him Lightningkit."

A big grey kit crawled up to his mother and started to suckle.

Stormeye glanced at Longpaw, giving him a small nod to leave. He laid down near Ravenfeather and his kit, gently licking it. His own son...Stormeye couldn't help but feel prideful, being a father now. He blinked at Ravenfeather, nodding. "Lightningkit...I like it! He will be a great warrior."

Longpaw nodded and padded out into his den.

Lightning kit gave a slight purr as he heard his father talk.
