A talk with Bramblestar

Embereyes went to the entrance of Bramblestar's den. She coughed once, then spoke, 'Bramblestar?'

Bramblestar was in his den thinking of patrols and what not, "Come in Embereyes." he said

Embereyes came in. When she arrived a few tail-lengths away from his nest, she dipped her head.

Bramblestar stood up and shook the scraps of moss off from his pelt then wrapped his tail over his paws, "I'm assuming you have some news for me?" he asked

Embereyes nodded. "Yes I do." She said.

"Don't be scared. We'll handle this situation." Bramblestar mewed

Embereyes shook her head. "Me and Hawkfeather are expecting kits." she purred.

Bramblestar was surprised, "Really?" he asked. "Congratulations Embereyes!" he smiled. New kits! Bramblestar thought happily

Embereyes nodded. "Yes, and thanks."

"Go to Lilystem and ask her if it is time for you too move into the nursery." he mewed

Embereyes nodded. "I will Bramblestar. Also, another thing has been bugging me..."

"Go on." he said

Embereyes hesitated for a moment, "I-I-I-I," she hung her head, and let out a sigh, (she forgot. x3) "Never Mind,"

"It's ok. Try to remember what you were going to tell me and when you do remember talk to me as soon as possible." he said

Embereyes nodded. 'Thank you, Bramblestar.'
