Te Fox is hurt

Foxpaw limped into camp beside Runningfoot and Bluepaw. "Longpaw!" she gasped.

Longpaw emerged from his den to hear his name. "Foxpaw. Are you hurt?" he asked padding closer with a calm voice it seemed only the medicine cats and medicine cat apprentices carried.

Bluepaw glanced at the medicine cat apprentice. "She twisted her paw, and I fell in a bramble bush."

"Oh dear, well you better get you and Foxpaw into the den I'll be right with you" he ordered them with a calm but stern order in his voice.

Foxpaw limped over to the medicine cat den

Longpaw came in after a while, since Willowstream was probally out finding more herbs he just looked at her paw "I'll give you some poppyseeds and then I'll maybe go find some bark to straighten your paw? I don't know if it would work though, after all I just started, but I do know you should straighten it out and numb it with poppyseeds" he meowed and looking in the pile, sniffinf with his dark ginger nose he picked out the poppy and nudged it to Foxpaw, still wondering what to do with her paw.

Runningfoot nodded, "Bluepaw would you like to stay? I can go back to hunting or I could stay here. Your choice."

"I'll stay with Foxpaw, and I have a thorn in my pad." Bluepaw explained.

Runningfoot nodded setting off for the hunting group again.

Nodding Longpaw sniffed for yarrow and grabbed them in his jaws he chewed them into a poulituce, praying it will work. Smearing it on the pad and putting marigold on it he grabbed the thorn and pulled back a bite of blood drew but was covered by the poultice, he covered it in cobwebs. "There you go Bluepaw your good just try to keep that paw clean, and Foxpaw, you stay here untill Willowstream comes back so she can help your paw, meanwhile get some rest."

Moments later, Willowstream burst into the den, leaves clamped tightly in her jaw. She strode over to the herb store and set them down, quickly turning to face their new patients.
"Alright, what happened?" she asked gently.

"Bluepaw fell into the brambles but I treated him using yarrow and marigold for his pad poppyseeds for pain and uh cobwebs on top to treat it while I straightened it and gave Foxpaw poppyseeds for her pain of her twisted ankle" Longpaw explained.

"Is my paw gonna be okay?" Foxpaw asked, tilting her head to the side

"It'll be fine though it will swell a bit and it will hurt for maybe about two weeks but after that you'll be fine" he purred.
