Bringing in a thistle

Stormeye glared at Runningfoot, letting out a huff. He didn't want the warrior's sour attitude to the kit to force him to go back home if he didn't want it. He wrapped his tail around Thistlekit, wondering if this was in-fact Moonstar's kit. "If they want Thistlekit back, they can have him, but it is up to Butterflystar if we are going to give him back, or let him stay until RiverClan wants him back."

"ok, but if a it was missing woulden't they notice? It is not as if they would ignore that fact that one of moonstar's kits is missing! Oh, I know that's it is moonstar's because they are the only pair in RiverClan." she huffed

Occ: Did you forget about Hopeclaw and her inadvisable mate? Hopeclaw is a mother....

Ic: Stormeye just rolled his eyes, letting out a huff. "I'm afraid that Thistlekit most likely don't think his parents care about him, thanks to a comment from somebody," he meowed, glaring at Runningfoot. "He might like it here and if his parents do come for him, they can have him, and I am sure that Thistlekit would be willing to go. Also, they won't know where he has gone. I think it might rain soon, and it could wash away his scent..."

"it might..." she thought aloud

Runningfoot barred her teeth at Stormeye. "Well even if they don't wa..can't find him, he will be welcomed into the clan." She made sure to move her words that way it didn't seem like she was saying there was no hope of the RiverClan coming to get him.

Thistlekit let out a little mew. The thought of his parents not wanting him began haunting his mind again. Though the idea of staying with this Clan did seem intriguing to the tabby.

"Umm... I should probably stay until they come to get me... I'm sure they're on their way now..." he mumbled and looked at the ground. So much doubt was planted in those words. They most likely didn't even have a clue that he was gone. It was too dark for them to be awake.

Runningfoot tried to be more comforting to the kit and nodding agreeing with his statement. "May I ask how old are you." The young male had the name of a kit but seemed to be a bit older.

He hesitated. If he told them he was 6 moons old, then they might insist he become a WindClan apprentice. But if he didn't, he would just have to wait for another couple moons before he could officially become apprentice... if, you know...

"I'm 6 moons old." he answered blandly.

Runningfoot nodded. She would have to talk to her mother before any desicsion about this kit/apprentice would be made.
