| Firestorm sat at the camp entrance, waiting for Wisppaw. This would have been a happy day for him, but how could he be happy? His mate had just died. What fun is having an apprentice if you can't share it? Plus Firestorm would have Brownkit most likely for an apprentice. He wouldn't have his own kits, would he? | Wisppaw nodded and padded off through the forest looking for prey. He swiveled his ears, and his whiskers twitched furiously, and his mouth was parted slightly, but he scented nothing. Until the strong scent of vole crept along the breeze, tickling and teasing his nose. He purred and turned, with focused, narrowed eyes and spotted the brown, mouse like creature. He pounced, hoping to catch it. Wisppaw purred happily as the vole fell limp in his paws, and he scraped earth over it and continued.

| Wisppaw padded on, a grimace taking away his smile. Great. I'll never catch another piece of prey. he thought angrily, stalking on. Then a sound nipped his ears. He turned and spotted a mouse, scurrying about. Or maybe I will catch something. he thought, stalking the creature. "Yes!" he whispered as the mouse squeaked harshly then died, right in his paws. He turned to where he buried his vole and buried the mouse with it, then hurried on. ______________________________________ Art credit to Grey.

| OOC- Blah, I'll just do whatever number of dice for this one..
Wisppaw padded along and spotted a magpie. Stalking it, he pounced, hoping to catch it.
Then Wisppaw spotted a rabbit. Don't get these often. he thought, stalking it, too.
And then he found a blackbird and stalked it, hoping to catch it.
Wisppaw growled, missing all three chances of prey. I could've finished with five! he thought angrily. ______________________________________ Art credit to Grey.
