"It's ok!" Breezekit mewed, shaking out her fluffy black/ grey crow colored grey fur.

Shiningpaw yawned and walked to the freshkill pile and pulled put a fat rabbit and lay near them watching as she ate.

Icepaw padded out of the apprentice den with a yawn. "Hey." He greeted the other apprentices, coming over and sitting beside his sister. "Has Runningfoot given your assessment yet?" He asked, knowing he still hadn't gotten his own.

"no not yet" She mewed. she took a bite of her rabbit and gave it to her brother."you can have the rest, I am not hungery" she explaned

Icepaw blinked in confusion. "Are you sure? You only took one bite..." He mewed, looking down at the rabbit. Then again, it's a really big rabbit... he thought, his stomach rumbling silently.

"I;m hungry!" Breezekit whimpered, padded up behind Shiningpaw and Icepaw, staring at the rabbit hungrily.

Bluepaw laughed at the kits obvious request. "Breezekit, you can't eat meat yet." he meowed. "Too young. Try blueberries."

Hearing her name in a conversation Runningfoot trotted into the clearing. "Hello everyone". The deputy sat closer to the freshkill pile. Picking out a small field mouse, she said starting to knaw on its body.

"hey Runningfoot!" she mewed to her sister and mentor

"Hello, Runningfoot." Stormeye mewoed, glancing at the deputy.

Runningfoot nodded to both warrior and apprentice. She was happy to have the cats in the clan that she did.

Icepaw yawned. "A good day for hunting, while we sit here relaxing in the sunshine!" He grunted in amusement.

"Yes, it is" Runningfoot nodded in agreement to her brother.

Stormeye nodded, agreeing. "Yea, it is a good day for hunting."
