On the Run...

Silentherb soon was very close to where Splotchfur and Moonfrost were fighting. She kicked off from the ground and came flying from the water with a loud battle yowl, and landed on Splotchfur, knocking the warrior off balance and sideways into the water.

Silentherb used Underwater Push-Off, dealing 15 damage too Splotchfur and costing 25 Stamina

Splotchfur was caught by surprise and fell in to the river with a large splash. She tryed to keep her head out of the water but the waves engulfed her.Soon Splotchfur became too exausted to swim any more, her long fur slowwing her down.

Silentherb watched as Splotchfur got to tired to swim. Silentherb had long fur like Splotchfur, but her fur was silky so it didn't soak in the water. She knew that if she left Splotchfur in the cold water, she wouldn't make it to the shore, so she felt bad for knocking the warrior into the water. She easily swam over to the warrior and grabbed hold of her scruff, pulling her to the RiverClan side of the river, and let her fall to the ground once they were safe on the shore. She could tell that the warrior was cold, and like this, the warrior wouldn't be able to make it to the camp.

Splotchfur coughed up river water and groaned.Her fur clinged to her body as she tryed to stand up.

Silentherb looked at the warrior and helped her up. "Here, lean on me. I'm taking you to the RiverClan camp," she meowed, but her voice wasn't hostile at all. It was full of worry. The medicine cat glanced at Moonfrost, and flicked her tail. "Hurry up, Moonfrost. We don't want another ThunderClan cat to attack us."

Splotchfur leaned againsed Silentherb. She was trembleing from the cold leafbare that was ending soon.

Silentherb glanced at Moonfrost before disappearing into the undergrowth with Splotchfur leaning on her. They slowly made their way toward the RiverClan camp when Silentherb noticed something. Where in StarClan's name was Hopeclaw?

Splotchfur shivered and looked around. The reeds scattered every where up ahead she saw an island. I wonder if that is Riverclan camp...

Moonfrost was still in the water. She looked at ThunderClan territory one more time, her stomach in knots. She didn't want to leave Hopeclaw, but at the time it was easiest for just one cat to escape... Escape. She purred softly as she shook her long fur and stepped out of the water. She had finally escaped, and she was returning home right now! After one last glance to ThunderClan, she ran back into her own territory, back home.

After catching up to Silentherb, she dipped her head. "I left Hopeclaw..." She began guiltily. "I didn't mean to, but..." She had no explanation for what she did. Her stomach flipped with guilt and excitement as she saw RiverClan's camp in the distance.

Sleepystar paced around the edge of the near empty camp. He had taken it to himself to do about everything lately. He stopped suddenly when he heard reeds being pushed aside and a faint ThunderClan scent wafting through the air. He grit his teeth, his claws unsheathed.

Then Moonfrost appeared, leading the small group. Pushing through the reads, she smiled and lifted her head, enjoying the scent of home. Looking around, she realized that the camp was nearly empty. Strange... She thought before spotting the tom. "Sleepystar!" She called, happy to see her leader.

Silentherb padded into the clearing after Moonfrost, with Splotchfur still leaning on her. She sighed sadly when she saw that Moonfrost had noticed the empty camp. "Oh..Moonfrost...I-I'm afraid that Sparrowflight is dead...I believe someone saw her killing herself...but we never could find her body, and then...as you know, my mother is dead too."

Moonfrost stopped dead in her tracks. "Sparrowflight is... Dead?" She murmured in surprise, before dropping her head. "I see..." Why is everyone I love dying? My father, Leafpaw, Badgerfang, Sparrowflight, Mothpaw...

Silentherb nodded sadly. "I wish we could of just find her body..." she sighed sadly, and looked up at Sleepystar.

Sleepystar looked down at Splotchfur and Moonfrost. "What happened...?" he inquired, ignoring the conversation about Sparrowflight's death.
