Sparrowflight padded back into camp with two decent sized fish handing from her jaws. She set them down in the pile and wrinkled her nose. Something smelled fowl, like crow-food. She twisted her head around and tried to pin-point the source, finding the strong order in less then a second or two. Sleepystar's den. She sighed, wondering why on earth their leader was so keen on keeping a rotten fish...
He just wasted it! Like it was one of their own kitty-pets or something! And that was against the Warrior Code, wasn't it? Her fur ruffled in annoyance.

Sleepystar woke up and saw Sparrowpelt standing outside his den. "Sparrowpelt...?" he inquired, blinking sleep from his dull green eyes.

"Good evening, Sleep- Sleepystar-" The she-cat had to cover her nose and try to keep herself from gagging, forcing herself to give the tom a respectful nod of her head. "And it's-- er-- Sparrowflight, not-" What, was he sleeping with the crow-food in his nest.

"Right, sorry..." the tom apologized, waking up fully. "Err, is there something wrong?"

Sparrowflight tried to think of the right words, though he was perhaps insane and smelt half-dead, she was still his leader and felt she needed to treat him with respect. Difficult, though. "Ahem- Ah- Why do you-- no, did you ever eat that fish that was in your den?" she stumbled out.

He frowned. "Um... No. Why do you ask?"

"Well, ... It's been dead for so long, It's become rotten, sir..." Sparrowflight forced both paws on the ground, though her eyes started to water. "Can't you scent it?"

"I must've gotten used to it..." Sleepystar replied quietly, pawing the skeletal fish.

"Perhaps we should bury it..." Sparrowflight said carefully, "And you can go wash up in a steam, yeah?"

"...Huh?" he inquired, looking up from his fish. Sleepystar had hoped that no one would get between him and his beloved fishy.

"Lets... Get rid of the fish..." The she-cat said slowly, reaching for the old bones with her claws to take it away for good.
