For the past twelve years, my family has had a dog. This week we're saying goodbye to him for the last time; and the day after we're heading out on a family road trip to pick up a relative and give them a ride home (while visiting other relatives who live in that area, since we aren't in the area very often). Because of that, while I don't expect to vanish completely, WCC is going to be on the backburner for a bit.

I handle grief... Weirdly. It tends to hit me with a delay, and on and off for a very long time....

Hello everyone! A lot of things have been going on in my life recently, so that means that I will unfortunately have to put WCC aside for now. Don't worry, it's only for 2 or 3 weeks. I'll be back. I'll still get some posts in, but they'll be... slow. Mostly posts I need for reqs or plots.

As for my characters, just act like they're NPCs for now.

I officially survived vacation!

Well I think it’s been while so, how have y’all been doing? Again you’ll need to catch me up on who left who joined and who came back. It's that time of year again. I'm going on a trip this weekend to see my family for my birthday! (I mean, not really. It's not my birthday for another couple of weeks, but since I'll be busy doing something else then, my family is flying me out as an early birthday present.) I'm going to have a high school reunion, and spend a bunch of time with my siblings--and my dogs. So I'll be pretty busy for those 4-ish days and won't get much posting done.

I'll still have my phone, and I plan to do mobile posting for the Gorge dispute battle, any warrior ceremonies, or anything...

Title says it all really. I have a lot going on in real life, mostly good, some not so great, and WCC is on the back burner. I will still complete the Feral Thunder plot and maybe do some other things with Falconmoon on occasion, but posting will be slow and quality might be... sad. Darkspirit's demotion couldn't have come at a better time I guess. The end of this month will be very exciting for me, with my puppy being born, my birthday and finally getting some baby chickens that I will need to care for and check on often until they are fully feathered. I've just been having a rough time the past little while- I'm working on catching up to my posts after the post-convention exhaustion, but it was quickly replaced by personal problems and catching up completely might still take a few days (excluding ceremonies). Well it's been a whole year, I never expected to stay away for this long but I am definitely back now. I've put some thought into it and decided I need to limit myself to one or two characters and really focus on them, which will hopefully help my muse and workload. I forgot to say that I was going to be MIA during the last weeks of may due to a scientific congress I had to participate in. Luckily, the congress was yesterday (even won the best poster defence, yay!) So I'm back.

As an explanation for my characters disappearance:

Fernpaw has been resting in the meddie den after doing a reckless stunt when training alone. She is fully recovered now and ready to roleplay

Oakpaw got a small case of greencough and is slowly recovering

Okay well, today I found out I was diabetic. I pretty much had that suspicion anyway, given that I only have 20% of my pancreas left. I'm still not thrilled, but it is something I was mentally preparing for and I feel I can handle. I will try managing it with diet and see how that goes. However, other blood tests brought things up that I found disturbing and scary. I have a high count of different kinds of infection fighting cells that may indicate anything from too much stress on my body, to an infection that is brewing somewhere inside me and it might get ugly, to full blown cancer. Hey guys, it's no secret that my activity has been unacceptably low lately, and I want to start off by apologizing for failing to be more active as both a moderator and a high rank. The truth is, I've been going through a lot irl lately. I found out a couple months ago that I'm pregnant so I've been super stressed trying to figure out how to restructure the plans I had for my life. Not only that, but I'm getting ready to graduate high school so trying to juggle work, exams, and my onsite responsibilities has been chaotic and exhausting. Due to this, along with the fact that I recently had to euthanize...

Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that I won't be around really at all from Fri-Tues. We take a mother's day trip to the beach every year so I will be away from my PC and my phone for the majority of the next fiveish days.

I'm going to be pretty busy for the rest of this month, both taking care to prevent burnout and dealing with personal events in my life; from being home alone for the next week or so (and so having extra responsibilities that aren't usually mine to deal with) to a convention near the end of the month that I'll be pretty busy with. Hi hi friends, here's going to hopefully be my last update regarding the chaos of the month of April.

I have three very big finals due this week. One of them is my Capstone, another is a PHP project (if you ever have done any programming and touched PHP, it is... a beast. Very few people like it), and another is database designing. I've also got a biostatistics exam at some point in there.

Apparently, this month has decided to be nothing but chaotic for me.

Aside from Easter and finals, I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed on Friday, April 14th. I don't know how long I'll be recovering, but I know I'll probably have a rather angry migraine!

I will do my best for ceremonies, but I do ask that people ping me for them during this weekend. I appreciate it in advance!
